Boaties and those who can only dream of life on the water will find everything they desire at a special Maritimo boat show being held for one day by Ormonde Britton’s Maritimo Gold Coast and BMS on March 12.
With the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show not until May, the ‘pop-up’ show planned by Maritimo will fill a void for those who love all things boating.
Maritimo Australian Sales Manager, Ormonde Britton confirmed the show would be held at the Hope Harbour Marina in John Lund Drive, where the Maritimo factory is located, between 9am and 5pm.
“It will be a great day with something for everyone,” said Britton. “Sanctuary Cove Lions Club will operate a sausage sizzle, Stan’s coffee cart will be on site along with Chubby’s mobile diner to serve gourmet burgers.
“For the kids, there will be plenty to amuse, with a jumping castle and face painting.”
The show will feature a host of educational activities and displays covering boat maintenance, electronics displays and demonstrations, ancillary marine parts and demonstrations, diesel engine displays and displays covering interior designs and soft furnishings.
In addition, there will be lucky door prizes including a dinner for two at New York New York and a lunch/dinner voucher for two at Tiffany’s Café & Cocktails (both valued at $150).
Greg Haines, Maritimo Marketing Manager said “On display will be a good selection of the Maritimo’s models including the M48, M50, and M65 cruising motor yachts.”
“In addition, the Maritimo Offshore Racing team’s race boat will be on show and there will be a range of tenders, inflatable boats and outboard motors for people to inspect.”
“We will have our usual large on water display at the Sanctuary Cove show in May, but we wanted to put together something before then for the boating community.
“The Hope Harbour show will be a great event with something for everyone.”
