The 2017 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show has been the most successful boat show since the GFC for iconic Australian luxury cruiser manufacturer, Maritimo.
International Sales and Marketing Manager, Greg Haines, said the show enjoyed record numbers overall and the $25 million Maritimo showcase was a hive of activity from start to finish.
“The response to the two new models we revealed to the Australian market for the first time, the S59 and the M59 was tremendous,” he said. “Many of the comments related to the quality of these two vessels which is pleasing as the company has been strategically driving up its build quality and finish for several years now.”
Haines said while Maritimo did not reveal actual sales numbers for reasons of commercial in-confidence the company ‘was very , very pleased’ with the sales result and the quality of leads generated.
“We have finished the show on an absolute high and I can say that our forward order book for the rest of 2017 and into 2018 looks significantly healthier than prior to the show,” he said.
Haines said Maritimo dealer partners from the USA attended the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and were impressed with the overall presentation of the show, the number of exhibitors and the Maritimo display and on land marketing and sales centre.
More than 300 VIP guests were treated to a spectacular new model reveal presentation at the Maritimo headquarters on Friday night.
“Let’s just say that the result from the show bodes well for Maritimo throughout the rest of this year and into 2018,” said Haines.
