Australian luxury motor yacht brand Maritimo is extending its worldwide reach and brand awareness with yet another successful Maritimo international owners’ event staged in the Pacific NorthWest.
More than 50 people and 14 boats took part in the annual Port Sidney Muster organised by Maritimo dealer partners Compass Point Yachts and Silver Seas Yachts last month. The region has been a key market for Maritimo over the years due to the attraction of key the brand’s key design features and their suitability to the region’s harsh climate and conditions.
This was the third year the owners’ event has been staged and according to organisers it was one of the best yet held. The program was both social and educational with workshops and presentations by Maritimo Australia representatives and also venders such as Quick Gyros, Yacht Controller and Garmin Electronics. Social events included the final night celebrating the 100th anniversary of Butchart Gardens with a picnic basket dinner under the stars watching a fireworks spectacular.
Organiser Michelle King said highlights of the muster included a presentation by Maritimo’s lead designer, Tom Barry-Cotter on the company’s exciting new product development strategy and also future corporate direction as well as a run down on future Maritimo North America marketing by Maritimo Americas President, Dave Northrop.
“The muster brings Maritimo owners together and gives them a chance to share ideas and experiences, hear from the factory as to what is coming in the future and see new products that will help them enjoy their Maritimo’s more in the future,” said Michelle.
Maritimo’s Tom Barry-Cotter said owners’ musters were a strong part of the company’s international marketing strategy and helped bring owners together to share experiences, receive product training, be updated on the latest product and accessories, and most of all to feel a part of the Maritimo family.
